Little Giant Nesting Waterer Jug and Base, 1 gal | Jug or Waterer Base

The two halves of Little Giant's nesting waterer

The 1-gallon nesting jug and the Nesting Poultry Waterer Base are the two parts of Little Giant's nesting-style chick waterer. Fill the jug, set it into the base, and chicks get a steady, shallow supply of water. Each part is sold separately — buy only the piece you need, or both to build a complete waterer.

The parts

• 1-Gallon Jug: The reservoir half of the nesting waterer — a full day-plus of water for a brooder of chicks. Its lug design seats it securely in the base.
• Waterer Base: Red plastic base that cradles the jug and serves water in a shallow trough sized for day-old chicks — deep enough to drink from, shallow enough to be safe.
• For chicks and young poultry: The classic brooder watering setup

Order both parts if you are building a waterer from scratch.
