SouthFresh Feeds Floating Catfish Feed 50 lb

32% protein floating feed you can watch your catfish eat

SouthFresh Feeds Floating Catfish Feed is a 32% protein floating diet for catfish, made by SouthFresh Feeds in Demopolis, Alabama. Because the pellets float, you can see exactly how your fish are feeding, adjust the amount on the spot, and keep uneaten feed from sinking and souring your pond — a practical, efficient way to grow catfish in ponds and aquaculture setups.

Product highlights

• 32% crude protein: A growth-level protein specification to support strong, efficient catfish production.
• Floating pellets: Feed at the surface so you can monitor appetite and intake at every feeding.
• Less waste, cleaner water: Feed only what the fish clean up, and avoid the oxygen depletion that overfeeding causes.
• Vitamin and mineral fortified: Includes vitamins A, D3, E, C and B-complex plus essential trace minerals.
• Ruminant free: Formulated ruminant free, with fish oil among its protein and energy sources.

Feeding directions

Feed at least once a day, early in the morning or late in the afternoon, broadcasting from the same place and at the same time each day, at about four feeding stations per acre. Offer roughly what the fish will clean up in 20 to 30 minutes — about 3 to 5 percent of the fish's body weight per day — and adjust up or down with their feeding activity. Reduce the amount when the water temperature drops below 55°F. Do not overfeed: excess feed depletes oxygen and can sour the pond.
