Feeding Directions

Mix 2 enclosed scoops of powder into 1 cup of warm water (100–160°F) and whisk until dissolved. Bottle-feed 1/4 to 1/2 cup of solution every 4 hours for the first 24 hours of life; feed pygmy kids about half that amount every 3 to 4 hours. For kids that have nursed the dam, feed every 6 hours (every 4 to 6 hours for pygmy kids). Feed the solution at or near body temperature (90–100°F), refrigerate unused solution promptly, reheat gently, and discard refrigerated solution after 24 hours.
