The barn staple for everyday fly season

Farnam Bronco Equine Fly Spray Plus Citronella Scent is a ready-to-use, water-based insecticide and repellent in a 32 fl. oz. trigger spray bottle. It kills six fly species on contact — stable, horse, face, deer, house and horn flies — along with gnats, ticks, fleas, chiggers and lice, and it repels mosquitoes. The non-oily formula goes on with a light citronella scent and doubles as a premise spray for barns and stables.

Product highlights

  • Kills six fly species: Stable, horse, face, deer, house and horn flies, plus gnats, ticks (including deer ticks), fleas, chiggers and lice.
  • Repels mosquitoes: Extra protection during peak biting season.
  • Water-based and non-oily: Ready to use full strength — spray it on or wipe it on, no mixing or diluting.
  • Citronella scent: A barn-friendly fragrance instead of a harsh chemical smell.
  • More than horses: Labeled for horses, ponies and foals, and for dogs — plus use as a surface or space spray in horse barns and stables.
  • Quart trigger spray bottle: 32 fl. oz. (1 qt / 946 mL).

Active ingredients

  • Prallethrin: 0.033%.
  • Permethrin: 0.100%.
  • Piperonyl butoxide: 0.500%.
  • Other ingredients: 99.367%.
  • Total: 100.000%.

Directions

  • Brush the horse first to remove excess dirt and dust, then apply full strength.
  • Trigger spray: Mist the coat lightly while brushing against the lay of the hair; keep spray out of the eyes and mucous membranes and use a sponge or cloth on the face.
  • Wipe-on: Apply liberally with a sponge, cloth or mitt, paying special attention to the legs, belly, shoulders, neck and face.
  • In the barn: Use undiluted as a surface or space spray where flies congregate in stables and horse quarters.
  • Not for use on horses intended for slaughter.

Safety

  • Caution: Keep out of reach of children. See the back panels for additional precautionary statements.

One quart covers the whole barn — horses, dogs and the stalls they live in.
